What's Happening at EMS

What an amazing evening of learning at our EMS Title I Science Workshop! Parents and students had the opportunity to become “Scientists for a Day” as they explored the fascinating world of heredity and genetic traits. From discovering how characteristics are passed down to participating in engaging, hands‑on activities, the experience was truly interactive, meaningful, and enriching for everyone involved.

A very special thank you to our outstanding Science Department Chair, Mrs. Woods, and her dedicated team who attended the workshop, Mr. Griffin, Ms. Hill, and Ms. Elluru, for leading such an informative and engaging workshop. Their commitment to making science accessible, relevant, and exciting for our families does not go unnoticed.

Our Parents on the Scene (POTS) continue to show up in big, medium, and small numbers! We are grateful for the many opportunities throughout the school year that allow families to actively engage in the learning journey and support the academic success of our scholars.

 

 

We proudly celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with our Phenomenal Program before Fall Break! We were told that many teachers were moved to tears when they saw many of their students talent outside of the classroom.  This made the mission accomplished beyond measure.

The program was filled with memorable moments from the Presentation of the Flags and uplifting cultural songs, to lively dance and cheer routines, and a dynamic finale by the EMS Band.
